After his former lover Lavanya’s accusations were aired in the media, young Tollywood hero Raj Tarun himself broke his silence and informed the media. Raj Tarun shared his side of the story and also said that he had become a ‘victim’ in the entire episode. Raj Tarun hit back at his former lover Lavanya. He accused her of having a ‘drug addiction’ and also cheating on him with another man named ‘Masthan Sai’. Raj Tarun showed TV channels a copy of the 8-month-old FIR filed by Lavanya demanding marriage with Masthan Sai.

Raj Tarun, however, claimed that he was “grateful” to Lavanya who helped him during the initial days when he came to Hyderabad to work in films. Raj Tarun then claimed that it was Lavanya who had threatened his co-actress Malvi Malhotra and her brother using “foul language”. Raj Tarun said that Malvi had all the proofs and recordings. Raj Tarun clarified that he had kept silent considering that his “reputation” was at stake.

Earlier, an audio call between Lavanya and heroine Malvi Malhotra was leaked online. Old intimate and private pictures of Lavanya and Raj Tarun were also leaked on social media.
