Peel police to offer 0,000 reward for information in two unsolved murders

Peel police plan to announce two $100,000 rewards for information that could identify or lead to the arrest of suspects in the unsolved murders of two Mississauga women.

Jackline Gore and Raneilia Richards were shot and killed in separate incidents four years apart, but police say neither woman was the intended target of the shooters. Both were innocent bystanders.

Inspector Todd Custance and Detective Sergeant Phil King of Peel’s homicide and missing persons unit are expected to announce the awards Monday.

On July 8, 2019, Gore, 24, of London, Ontario, was fatally shot outside the Fume Bar & Lounge on Tobram Road near Derry Road.

Gore was in a parking lot with friends around 2:48 a.m. when a masked man approached a group of men nearby and opened fire. The intended target was part of that group, police said after the shooting.

The target fled and the man chased him through a park, shooting at him. One of the bullets hit Gore.

Police say Gore was an accomplished basketball player who attended York and Western universities before landing a full-time job at a bank. She was out with friends that night and had no connection to the man police believe was the target of the shooting.
