Taylor Swift interrupts concert mid-song to send message to Dublin stadium workers

Taylor Swift The singer abruptly ended her latest Eras Tour performance after a fan in the crowd needed help – and she ended up giving special thanks to the stadium staff for taking care of the situation.

At the first of Swift’s three sold-out Eras Tour concerts at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, June 28, the “Fortnight” singer was in the middle of the Midnight segment of the show when she briefly interrupted the performance to call security.

“We need help out there,” Swift said in a clip from Friday night’s performance of “Lavender Haze,” but the music superstar noticed almost immediately that stadium staff were already on the case.

“Assuming you received it, great,” said Swift, 34, before sending a message of gratitude to all Aviva employees.

“Everyone who works in this stadium is incredible,” Swift exclaimed before continuing the song without missing a beat.

And some Swift fans seemed to agree that the stadium staff was on another level, including one person who reached out to X to say, “The people at the stadium were really amazing. They were constantly handing out water to people.”

Other Swift fans applauded the 14-time Grammy winner for singing the rest of the song flawlessly, even with the interruption,

“Mann, how is she so cool?” one surprised fan asked.

Someone else wrote: “I love the look on the dancers faces, like wonder and amazement, they know her and are always in awe of her.”

Swift has two more shows to go in Dublin, where she will once again take to the stage at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.
