Traffic stop for helmet use leads to arrest warrant – WGRV.com

Police stopped a moped around 1:45 p.m. Friday afternoon at the corner of Forest Hills Drive and Snapps Ferry Road. The moped driver was wearing a helmet, but the passenger was not.

The driver was identified as Cynthia Arrieta of Housley Avenue, who had a suspended driver’s license. The passenger was identified as Crissy Norton of Unaka Street, who was found guilty of violating her probation by Greene County. Norton was taken to the Greene County Detention Center, and Arrieta was issued a criminal summons for driving on a suspended license, with a trial date set for Monday morning.
