‘Barbie’ Actor ‘Forgot His Fan Message to Margot Robbie’

One of the stars of the giant cinema Barbie revealed that Margot Robbie surprised him on set, reminding him that he had sent her a birthday message years before.

Welsh actor Rob Brydon, who surprised audiences with his appearance as Sugar Daddy Ken in last summer’s blockbuster, said THE The Times of London It turned out Robbie was a big fan of his hit British sitcom Gavin and Stacey (co-written by James Corden and Ruth Jones).

Brydon said:

“Years ago, Margot’s friend asked me to record a birthday message for her as Uncle Bryn (his character in Gavin and Stacey). I met Margot when I went to do a Barbie “I was trying on my wardrobe. She said, ‘You don’t remember making that message, do you?’ I said, ‘No, to be honest, I forgot.’”

Brydon revealed that, working only a few hours on BarbieHe had no idea how big the film would become: “I was only in it for one day, I had no idea.”

Last year, Brydon revealed that he found it hurtful when Barbie Fans wondered why he was cast in the record-breaking film, but how he got the role was a lesson for young actors: “You never know who’s watching, right?”

Brydon will reprise his role as Uncle Bryn in the Christmas special Gavin and Staceybroadcast on the BBC during this festive period.
