Madison Keys’ Fiance Bjorn Fratangelo Caught Picking Nose at Wimbledon

Madison Keys’ Fiance Bjorn Fratangelo Caught Picking Nose at Wimbledon

Apparently it was important enough to breach etiquette at Wimbledon.

During Madison Keys’ round of 16 match against Italy’s Jasmine Paolini, ESPN’s broadcast showed the American’s coach and fiancé, Bjorn Fratangelo, picking his nose and tinkling his fingers.

The camera stayed on Fratangelo for 16 seconds before ESPN analyst Rennae Stubbs said, “Get the camera off him while he picks his nose!”

Fans quickly took to X.

“Damn @BjornFratangelo you picked your nose in the players’ dressing room at Wimbledon for the world to see,” one user wrote. “Was it really THAT important? Disgusting. #wimbledon.”

“Are we not human? If we sting, don’t we bleed?! I’m not an animal!!!” – Bjorn Fratangelo,” posted another.

No. 12 Keys fell in the first set but rallied to win a tiebreak in the second against No. 7 Paolini.

She won six of her eight break chances, but Keys couldn’t hold on in the third set due to a mid-match injury.

Keys, 29, took a medical timeout during the set to deal with the issue, but it appears she suffered a left leg injury that left her unable to move properly, ultimately forcing her to retire from the fourth-round match.

She left the court in tears, losing to Paolini, 3-6, 7(6)-6, 5-5, as the 28-year-old Italian advanced to the quarter-finals – the furthest she has reached at Wimbledon.

Paolini also reached the French Open final this year, losing to No. 1 Iga Swiatek, who was eliminated early at Wimbledon on Saturday.

Keys reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon last year and then made the semi-finals of the US Open more than a month later.
