Meghan Markle is ready to talk to the royal family – with one goal in mind, says expert

Meghan Markle is “ready to sit down” for peace talks with the royal family, according to reports. A royal expert has said she believes repairing ties could “help her sell her jam”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have maintained a considerable distance from The Firm following their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family in 2020 and their subsequent move to America.

Their relationship has since been marred by a series of explosive allegations against the royal family, exacerbating an already significant rift, to the point where Meghan reportedly vowed to “never set foot in Britain again”.

It now appears the Duchess is willing to mend the rift with the royal family, even though she is “genuinely hurt”, according to the Express.

Speaking to GB News, royal family author Angela Levin said: “She’s still genuinely hurt by the way she was treated by the royal family – four years on. And she finally wants to sit down and talk things out.”

Levin also mentioned that Meghan expects the royal family to “apologize,” although such an outcome seems rather doubtful.

Levin stressed: “The person who should be apologizing is her, but they (Harry and Meghan) don’t want that.”

The biographer also claimed that a royal insider had said the duchess hoped a reconciliation with the royal family would “help her sell her jams” from her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

She revealed: “She’s also trying to convince Beatrice and Eugenie, who are at the top of her list, to find people to help her sell her jams. And she’s really hoping King Charles will take one too.”

“It comes from a pretty good source, and that’s what gives her the excuse to go there, she wants to make sure everything is okay, but it’s also a way to sell her products.”
