Although she is an adult and therefore it is not illegal for her to smoke, many pointed out that she was smoking indoors. In South Korea and many other countries, smoking indoors is often prohibited. Even in Capri, Italy, where she was, the law strictly prohibits smoking in enclosed spaces. Additionally, netizens criticized her for doing so in front of her staff.

The law does not take smoking indoors lightly, whether electronically or not. NCT‘s Haechan was fined by authorities after being caught smoking an e-cigarette indoors in South Korea.
