A 35-year-old man has revealed his anti-aging secrets after strangers told him he looked like a teenager.

Brandon Miles May wears sunscreen every day, covers his skin when he goes outside and has never touched a drop of alcohol in his life.

He also follows a diet of fresh fruit, plant-based foods and fish, which he says helps him feel as young as he did 10 years ago.

Brandon has been taking care of his skin since he was 13 years old and strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The social media content creator, originally from Michigan, USA, said: “When I go to airport security, ask me how old I am. They do a double take.”

“I attribute my youthful appearance to not drinking. Really embodying the feeling of youth has helped me. I consider and see myself as young.”

“I have stayed out of the sun my whole life. I wear a hoodie for sun protection and I use physical protection on the backs of my hands.

“People think I’m a variety of ages, but it could be 15, 16, or 18 or 19.

“I have never done surgery. What I do is quite simple but effective.”

Brandon, who also owns a medical communications company, has always had a taste for healthy food.

At age 15, he began making some changes to his diet, such as incorporating green tea and more plant-based foods.

And at 19, he cut out sugars, grains and carbohydrates and now eats organic foods and lots of low-mercury fish.

He added: “At 13, I was already starting to become aware of longevity and anti-aging.

“At that time, I was very interested in nutrition and keeping my body youthful.”

Brandon also believes in exercising, but not doing anything too intense to avoid overworking his body.

He says he invests time in himself, but insists his lifestyle is not about living forever, but about maintaining his health for as long as possible.

“I don’t exercise too much. Too much exercise can cause stress on the body and make it age.

“I practice moderate and gentle physical activity: walking, yoga and a little weight training.

“I want to feel good. Feeling young is part of being young. Living forever is not a priority. It’s about maintaining my health.”

“I think I look better than I did ten years ago. I feel young physically and emotionally. I think the body follows the mind.”

Brandon’s Anti-Aging Tips:

  • Stay safe from the sun and protect your skin with UV-protective clothing
  • Wear SPF every day
  • Eat berries like blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
  • Eat low-mercury fish, such as sardines, which are high in omega-3s.
  • Eat organic fruits and vegetables
  • Avoid carbohydrates, sugar and grains
  • Avoid alcohol

Brandon said outsiders think his lifestyle must be “exhausting,” but he says it’s simple to follow and also allows for daily treats.

He added: “I eat chocolate every day. I have it between 92 and 100 percent cacao. It’s super bitter.”

“I’m pretty flexible too. If I go out to dinner, I take bread and olive oil.”
