Actress Jisoo has been very busy these past few months. However, it is now time for soloist Jisoo to step back into the spotlight. BlackpinkJisoo, who has been busy filming a K-drama as well as a movie during the first half of this year, recently hinted at a possible comeback to the music scene.

Jisoo Talks About Her Solo Comeback

On July 7, Jisoo sent a cryptic message to her fans via Bubble. “Once filming is over, I will work hard to prepare so I can see Blink again soon,” the Blackpink star wrote.

Jisoo’s post sent the fandom into a frenzy, with many speculating that the idol-actress was hinting at a possible comeback to the music scene. “The woman opened a business, filmed movies, TV series, shoots, and brand campaigns, filmed many vlogs, opened a recording studio, and is now preparing to release music. She does business in all fields and is a very hardworking person. This year is her year,” one fan tweeted. Another added, “Real music is about to come back soon, I can’t wait to see what kind of music Jisoo will release with artistic freedom,” while a third wrote, “Either she was talking about the fan meeting rumor or she’s already focusing on preparing for her solo comeback. Either way, I know it’s music related, y’all.”

On the work front

Following her departure from YG Entertainment last December, Jisoo launched her solo label BLESSING in February 2024. The Flower The singer seems to have taken a break from music to get back into acting. She will be making her K-drama comeback with FluDirected by Yoon Sung-hyun, the upcoming zombie series also stars Park Jung-min and Kim Joon-han in key roles.

Additionally, Jisoo will also be making her big screen debut in Omniscient Reader’s Point of View alongside Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop. The film is expected to hit theaters in summer 2025.
