Waterloo man runs red light, arrested for DUI and drugs after stop

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man following a traffic stop on July 5. Jonathan Carnicelli, 37, was observed running a red light around 9:30 p.m. in the town of Waterloo.

After an investigation, authorities determined that Carnicelli was driving while impaired by drugs. He was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Carnicelli was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Township Court on July 24 at 5 p.m. New York State Police assisted in the arrest.
