Chael Sonnen Speaks Out After Michael Chandler Claims He Was Offered a Fight With Islam Makhachev: ‘Don’t Make That Mistake’

MMA analyst Chael Sonnen has weighed in after Michael Chandler claimed he was offered a fight against Islam Makhachev.

As we know, Michael Chandler has waited a long time for his chance to face Conor McGregor. He seemed to finally get his chance at UFC 303. Unfortunately for the former title challenger, that was not the case. The Irishman withdrew due to injury, leaving him in the dark as to if – and when – he would finally get the chance to stand opposite “Notorious” in the cage.

Since then, we’ve seen a few twists and turns in this story. One of those stories is that Chandler was offered a chance to fight UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. The man himself reported this, but we haven’t heard much about it since.
