Joe Jonas Breaks Silence After Sophie Turner Split, Will Reveal All About His New Solo Album

JOE Jonas is relaunching his solo career 13 years after his last album – and has channelled the emotional turmoil of his split from Sophie Turner into music.

The Jonas Brothers star filed for divorce from the British actress last September after four years of marriage and will show his vulnerable side in a set of songs written about the experience.

I’m told he opened his heart during the sessions for the album because he felt the subject matter was too serious and personal to talk about while singing with his bandmates.

Speaking about the project, Joe said: “It’s like sharing your journal with the world.

“This music is everywhere.

“There are some really beautiful ballads, songs about being a father, songs about love, songs about being better to yourself – a little bit of everything.”

About the first single, entitled Work It Out and which is scheduled for release following On Friday, he said: “We wrote it very quickly.

“The idea is that sometimes you realize you just have to get yourself out of something and you’re the only person who’s going to fix it yourself – no one’s going to come save you.

“It’s an emotional song with fun music.”

Joe, who promised the album would be released “later this year”, told the Therapuss podcast: “I needed to go and express myself, just for myself.

“I had a window of time and I locked myself in with a group of incredible singer-songwriters.

“We made an album in about two weeks.

“It’s the most personal music I’ve ever produced.”
