NMSU Men’s Basketball Team’s 2025 CUSA Schedule Unveiled

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The NMSU men’s basketball season will open its second season of Conference USA play on Jan. 2 against Sam Houston at the Pan American Center.

Sam Houston is a program that Jason Hooten, now the Aggies’ head coach, knew before coming to Las Cruses. The team will open and close its season against the Bearkats.

New Mexico State will play three straight home games, followed by its first road game against UTEP in the Battle of the I-10 on Jan. 11. The series then moves to the Pan American Center on Feb. 8. It will be the 227th time these two teams have met on the court.

The 2025 season will feature a total of 18 regular season games, playing each conference team twice.
