According to the Wall Street Journal, US President Joe Biden has reportedly canceled a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the G7 summit in June 2022. Instead of Biden, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken showed up for the meeting, leaving the German side “surprised,” the WSJ reported. Blinken reportedly told the Germans that the 81-year-old could not attend the meeting because he “had to go to bed.”
