CAIR Calls on President Biden to Stop Enabling Israeli Killings Following Mass Murder in Gaza 'Security Zone'

Muslim civil rights group also condemns Biden administration’s decision not to sanction Israeli unit that has committed serious human rights violations

CNN quoted a former member of the unit who said: “Many of us probably didn’t see Arabs, Palestinians in particular, as people with rights – right, as if they were actually the occupiers of a piece of land and needed to be displaced.”

In a report, Nihad Awad, CAIR National Executive Director said:

“The far-right Israeli government is carrying out this mass slaughter of Palestinians knowing that it will be supported and excused by the Biden administration and that American bombs and taxpayer dollars will continue to flow. President Biden’s continued support and silence on the genocide is giving a green light to more Israeli abuses and war crimes.

“President Biden must stop enabling these daily massacres and end our country’s complicity in genocide. Administration officials must start treating Palestinians as human beings worthy of life, dignity, and justice, not as animals destined solely for slaughter.”

According to Awad, the media’s silence on the daily massacres only serves to “normalize” the genocide.
