Refurbished versions of the Apple Pencil USB-C are now available in Canada and the United States

The Apple Pencil USB-C was released in November 2023, after launching in October of that year. The accessory is now available in the Apple Refurbished Store in Canada and the United States at a discounted price. It is available for $89, a $20 discount from the standard price of $109 in Canada, while it can be purchased for $69, down from $79, in the United States.

Apple opened availability of refurbished versions of the Apple Pencil USB-C for the first time this week, with a discount exclusive to European countries including Italy, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom, and has now expanded to other countries.

The USB-C device had a similar design to the Apple Pencil 2, but the difference was that it had a sliding cap with a USB-C port because the stylus couldn’t be charged magnetically. To keep the Pencil cheap, Apple eliminated attributes like pressure sensitivity and double-tap in the USB-C version. However, it can support the Apple Pencil’s hover and tilt functions and is compatible with iPads with the iPadOS 17.1 update or later. Like new Apple Pencils, refurbished models also come with a one-year limited warranty.
