Marathon Man Arrested For DWI After Traffic Stop in Cortlandville

Early Saturday morning around 12:45 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Saunders Road in Cortlandville by an officer with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for a vehicle with multiple traffic violations.

During an investigation with the driver, identified as 26 year old Matthew G. Tebbe of Marathonit was determined Tebbe was driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI with .08% of one percent or more of alcohol, both Misdemeanors, and numerous traffic violations.

Tebbe was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on his own recognition. He is due in Cortlandville Town Court at the end of this month.
