City of Jackson Announces Road Repairs for Highland Avenue

JACKSON, Tenn. — Road repairs are underway in the Hub City.

The City of Jackson Streets Department will begin making repairs on Highland Avenue starting Monday evening.

Public Works Director Austin Clark said they have located approximately 50 areas on Highland Avenue that need repairs and are asking the public to be patient as they work to make the necessary repairs for safer travel on the road.

The teams will start working every evening from 7pm until 5am.

“Motorists, please be patient with us. We’re going to be out there all week. We’re just trying to make it safer,” Clark said.

Additionally, pothole repairs will continue throughout the day throughout the city.
