Houston Restaurant Weeks 2024 Menus Are Live Today, and Reservations Are Now Open

Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) announced today that the first round of 2024 menus is now live! Diners can visit the website to view a partial list of participants, their menus, and begin making reservations. Additional restaurants will be added to the website by August 1, with approximately 400 restaurants expected to participate this year! The Derecho and Hurricane Beryl have had a significant impact on the restaurant industry. This year, the restaurant industry is looking at Houston Restaurant Weeks as a timely opportunity for Houstonians to support local restaurants with takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery.

Now in its 21st year, Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank and has had a monumental impact raising more than $21 million to date. The Houston Food Bank is able to turn every dollar donated into three meals, which equates to more than 63 million Meals for Houstonians experiencing food insecurity. Expect a long list of Houston’s hottest, newest and most popular restaurants all joining forces for Houston’s most anticipated dining event of the year, featuring specially priced multi-course prix fixe menus for brunch ($25), lunch ($25) or dinner ($39 or $55), available for dine-in and takeout.

“Houston Restaurant Weeks has been generating revenue for the restaurant community and associated businesses for 21 years,” said Katie Stone, Foundation President. “After the recent natural disasters, Derecho and Hurricane Beryl, there is an even greater need to dine out and do good. Our area’s restaurants, businesses and families’ lives have been upended. Income and revenue have been lost for many. Houston Restaurant Weeks will provide a vital infusion to restaurants and our economy. I encourage everyone to visit their favorite spots and the new additions to this year’s list. Houston Strong!”

ABOUT THE HOUSTON FOOD BANK

Serving Houston and Southeast Texas since 1982, Houston Food Bank’s mission is to provide food for better lives. We provide access to more than 150 million nutritious meals in 18 counties through our 1,600 community partners at food banks, soup kitchens, social service providers and schools. To close the gaps on plates, we focus on healthy foods and fresh produce. Working with our community, we advocate for policy change and racial equity, and foster dialogue about ways to increase food access and improve the lives of our community members, including services and connections to programs that address the root causes of hunger and help families achieve long-term stability: nutrition education, health management and assistance in obtaining publicly funded assistance. We are a resource for individuals and families in times of hardship. Houston Food Bank works alongside our partner food banks in Montgomery County, Galveston County, the Brazos Valley and the Trinity River region. Houston Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America, the national network of food banks, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator for the 12th consecutive year.
