A Texas YouTuber has broken his silence after it was revealed that Trump’s shooter wore a T-shirt from his merch line.

Thomas Matthew Crooks was seen wearing Demolition Ranch clothing after he was shot in an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The 20-year-old grazed Trump’s ear, killing one bystander and wounding two others before a Secret Service agent shot him dead.

Photos circulating in the hours after Crooks fired a series of bullets at the former president show him wearing the gray short-sleeved Demolition Ranch T-shirt with an American flag on the arm and block letters.

The brand is tied to Matt Carriker’s popular video channel, which is dedicated to showcasing firearms and shooting various types of weapons.

Today, the Demolition Ranch founder, who has nearly 12 million subscribers, shared his reaction to learning that Crooks was on his brand.

“What the hell?” Carriker wrote in a Facebook post Saturday night showing a photo of Crooks lying dead.

After discovering that Crooks was endorsing his channel, Carriker reached out to X to explain how he had been contacted by members of the media asking for information about his link and whether he had ever spoken with the shooter.

“Last night was crazy… News stations called me asking if I spoke to the shooter yet… what the… fuck,” Carriker tweeted, clearly in shock.

Carriker, who calls himself “King of Demolition” and runs his YouTube channel He started this channel as a hobby in 2011.

“Unfortunately we can’t control who wears our products in the wild. But people who know you know that you don’t condone this kind of action. At the end of the day, it was a piece of trash who happened to be wearing a DR t-shirt,” wrote another.

“Matt, we know you don’t condone violence. It doesn’t affect what we think of you. Your actions show your intentions,” reassured another user.

“On the plus side, your shirt will go down in history for a thousand years,” added another on X.

In many of Carriker’s videos, he can be seen conducting experiments using his firepower that are often extremely creative and entertaining, blending his fascination with firearms with a dark sense of humor that includes his wife and friends.
