Hillary Clinton and Jill Biden's 'deplorable' silence on social media

First Lady Jill Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have said a lot over the years to make millions of people believe they are empathetic, kind, and decent human beings. Yet what they didn’t say this weekend showed everyone the kind of people they really are. Three days after the first assassination attempt on a presidential candidate since 1972 (George Wallace), neither Biden nor Clinton have commented on their X-rated accounts.

The first lady once said: “Decency is on the election agenda.”

Sure, it may have been mentioned on the ballot, but it certainly wasn’t on her social media account, as Biden has remained silent on the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The fake doctor and current wife of the president has not posted anything on her X accounts to offer sympathy, empathy, or even acknowledge the attempted assassination of Trump. It’s a shameful silence that speaks volumes about the kind of person she really is, indicative of her considerable lack of decency.

Clinton, meanwhile, has had no problem criticizing Trump’s vice presidential pick, Republican Sen. J.D. Vance (Ohio), but has remained silent on the attempted assassination of Trump. She took to social media Tuesday to once again resort to dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric, insinuating that Vance was anti-freedom.

Clinton, who has a history of commenting on almost every political issue over the past 20 years, even when millions of people have asked her to remain silent, has remained conspicuously silent until Tuesday morning. Yet the former politician who has regularly warned of threats to our democracy (constitutional republic) has taken a vow of silence on X after the attempted assassination of Trump, who was a real threat to our democracy (constitutional republic). This is the latest example of Clinton’s callousness and coldness.

Incidentally, a close look at Clinton’s X account revealed that her last post before today’s was about none other than Trump. She has thus established that she can comment on her political rival and former president. However, she clearly chose not to do so when it came to the attempted assassination of Trump.

Not one post expressed sympathy, empathy, condolences, or anything sensible, reasonable, or humane. Instead, Clinton posted a social media post that contained the misleading, dishonest, and dangerous inflammatory rhetoric that has become a staple of Democratic politics, insinuating that Trump is a dictator.

It is understandable that Biden and Clinton, as political rivals, may not view Trump favorably. They may even dislike him. Both sentiments are perfectly understandable. However, disdain for a political rival should not be a substitute for human decency, especially when it comes to emphasizing the importance of decency. Their silence was disrespectful and their astonishing lack of empathy was, to quote Clinton, deplorable.

And while both women have been acknowledged in statements about the attempted assassination of their husbands, their silence should not fool anyone. Neither of them has deliberately posted social media messages on X (a rarity for both in political matters) acknowledging the attempted assassination of Trump. And that is something that should not go unnoticed or be quickly forgotten.

This must be mentioned every time one of them mentions decency or “threats to democracy” (constitutional republic). Their actions have incontrovertibly demonstrated their falsehood and insincerity. They lied and deceived millions of people to create a false political personality.

On the outside, Jill Biden and Hillary Clinton strive to create an image that portrays themselves as caring and compassionate people. Yet when it comes to their true selves, their actions, or lack thereof, show that they are rotten to the core.
