Buckhannon Water Department Announces Temporary Shutoff for July 18

BUCKHANNON — The City of Buckhannon Water Department has scheduled a temporary water shutoff as part of the Meade Street project.

Residents of Madison Street and South Florida Street, from East Lincoln Street to Madison Street and Latham Street, will experience the outage on Thursday, July 18 from 8 a.m. to noon.

This is the final part of Phase 3, which involves connecting the new 6-inch water main to South Florida Street from College Avenue.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding during this necessary process,” the water utility said.
