Gary Neville reveals moment Roy Keane lashed out at ITV staffer after TROUSERS blunder during Euro 2024

GARY NEVILLE has hilariously revealed the mistake that left Roy Keane furious while he was in Germany for Euro 2024.

Neville and Keane were both in Germany covering the tournament for ITV.

While on the continent, the Manchester United icons have been given some wardrobe help to ensure they look their best on screen.

But a blunder by a helpful member of ITV staff left famous moaner Keane less than impressed.

Sitting down with Keane, Jill Scott and Ian Wright for Sky Bet’s Stick to Football: The Overlap Special, Neville revealed the moment that made him laugh.

The 49-year-old retired right-back explained: “The funniest thing yesterday was someone tried to carry his (Roy’s) clothes from the car to the studio.

“As they approached him in the studio, his pants slipped off the bar.

“(Roy said) ‘OH MY GOD! That’s why I should carry my own rail. That’s why I should carry it myself.'”

Keane, 52, defended himself but admitted he had no need for complacency after that and would not have made the mistake himself.

He said: “There are obviously people here to help us and they are really helpful.

“But you get out of the car and you have a little bag and they say, ‘I’ll carry your bag’ – I can carry the bag!”

He jokingly added: “I don’t want people to help me, I just want to mind my own business.

“Because what happens is when people take your stuff, they’re completely pissed off about it and my pants are all over the floor.

“But I wouldn’t have pulled my pants down. And people are stepping on my pants!”

Keane didn’t stop his rant there either, adding: “People are really helpful, but this is ridiculous.

“I can do it.” “Would you like a cup of tea?” “I can make my own tea!”
