Braxton Miller’s sixth-grader son has been offered his first scholarship by Tom Herman and Florida Atlantic

BOOOOM!!! Let me be the first to congratulate Landon Miller, the 11 year old son of the great Braxton Miller and the FIRST 6th grade quarterback in the Midwest Region, on his first scholarship offer. Earned, not given!!!

And listen, I realize some people are going to say that he’s a 6th grader and that’s way too young to be offering someone a scholarship. Haters will point out that Tom Herman was Braxton’s offensive coordinator and QB coach at Ohio State and that this might be more of a courtesy offer than a real offer. But all I have to do is show you a clip and you’ll change your mind completely.

A real “Where have you been?” moment. The biggest coup in football history, from perhaps the most electric football player in Ohio State history. So when you get the chance to recruit his offspring, you take that chance. I’m honestly surprised teams waited this long. I mean, the kid has had legitimate sources writing about how he’s going to be a major college football star since he was 2 years old.

I’ve been buying Landon Miller stock since he made his big public appearance on draft day with Braxton, and I’m not ready to sell any yet. It would be awesome if this kid was as electric as his dad was.

Some say he’s a better receiver prospect than QB if he wants to play in the NFL, but for now… he looks like a pretty darn good college quarterback if you ask me. And let me tell you this: If Landon is anywhere near the talent level required to go to Ohio State, it’s a done deal for Columbus. Buckeye fans love Braxton Miller and his two Big Ten MVP awards… we’re not letting him go anywhere else. But for now, keep those offers coming, man. Enjoy the process too because time will certainly fly by. He’s only 7 years away from committing!
