The R&A stages its biggest tournament on some of the world’s finest golf courses.

The Open Championship is held each year on some of the most beautiful courses in the world. This collection of courses, known as the Open Championship rota, has hosted some of the greatest moments in major championship history and is well known to golf fans around the world.

The R&A claims that there is no “official” Open Championship calendar, but since 1933 only 10 courses have hosted The Open Championship. So it’s safe to say that these 10 courses make up the calendar, official or otherwise.

Here are the 10 courses on the Open Championship program.
