Eamonn Holmes breaks silence on work after split from Ruth Langsford

Eamonn Holmes made a surprise appearance on GB News today, stepping in at the last minute.

The veteran presenter, 64, who recently split from his wife Ruth Langsford, also 64, after 14 years of marriage, usually appears on the channel on weekdays alongside co-host Isabel Webster.

However, the father-of-four took over the Sunday morning show with broadcasting “legend” Anne Diamond, who seemed delighted with her temporary co-presenter.

Eamonn took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Anne in the studio, captioning it: “I was called in as a presenter this morning and what a pleasure it was with the legend that is Anne Diamond. Great response from you on many of the topics we covered. See you tomorrow morning!”

Fans were quick to express their delight at seeing the two veteran presenters team up, with one commenting: “Ohhh what a great photo. It would be nice to see you two together on a morning show! You both worked well together.”

GB News’ Dawn Neesom added: “Team Legend. Enjoyed watching you together x,” the Mirror reported.

Eamonn showed his appreciation for the kind words by replying to a fan: “Thanks for saying that.”

Another eagle-eyed viewer pointed out that Eamonn was still wearing his wedding ring, sparking curiosity about the gesture.
