Ten-year-old Vero Beach murder remains unsolved, ,000 reward offered for information

Ten years later, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) is still searching for answers in a tragic unsolved case.

IRCSO said KD Smith Jr. was shot and killed during a robbery on July 21, 2014.

The shooting reportedly happened in the 300 block of 6th Avenue Southwest, near Old Dixie Highway Southwest in Vero Beach.

Authorities are still seeking information to close this case.

IRSCO said a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for valuable information leading to an arrest.
