Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany looks set to make a move

FC Bayern Munich is not an easy club to manage for experienced managers, let alone novices. The learning curve from coaching a declining Premier League team like Burnley to one of the most historic clubs in the world is steep. It appears that Kompany “technically” took a break after the end of the Premier League season, but has spent time learning behind the scenes, according to FCBtv via @iMiaSanMia:

Kompany said of pre-season: “It was nice to have a bit of time off, but to be honest I’ve been very active behind the scenes. I’m looking forward to starting the season with this team, with this club and making sure everything is perfect and getting pre-season well underway.”

Bayern have tended to be pretty bad in pre-season lately. Maybe Kompany can turn that around. He seems to have done his homework. And he will have an exceptional squad to work with throughout pre-season.
