Emmerdale’s Rose Jackson Gets Surprised by Lydia Dingle

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Rose Jackson was surprised by Lydia Dingle in Emmerdale.

Dawn Taylor’s mother is secretly working with Ruby Fox-Miligan to get revenge on Kim Tate by getting closer to her estranged family.

Last week, Rose managed to turn her family against Kim by making it look like she drugged Dawn. In reality, Rose had tried to drug Will but mixed up his drinks.

In Monday’s (July 22) episode, Will was reluctant as Kim insisted Rose add poison to the drink as part of a “sneaky attempt” to set her up.

“If you think I would do anything to put Dawn in danger, then you’re not the man I married,” Kim told him.

Kim felt she had no choice but to temporarily leave Home Farm to protect young Evan, especially after Billy confessed that he was the one who accidentally made the baby sick.

Lydia remained skeptical of Rose, warning her that Home Farm was still Kim’s home and Will was still her husband.

“If you want to keep your job, I’ll keep it closed,” Rose retorted.

Rose asked Lydia to leave as she took a phone call from Ruby, even though she had no idea that Lydia had turned on the baby monitor before leaving the room.

From the next room, Lydia listened as Rose bragged to Ruby about how she had managed to poison most of the family against Kim.

“Will is devastated, but once trust is lost, it is gone. This marriage is over,” Rose reported cheerfully. “I think I deserve a bonus, don’t you?”

Later, Billy and Will were surprised when Rose assured them that they were “better off without that snake (Kim)” in their lives.

“Our future as a family starts here,” Rose promised.

Meanwhile, Lydia met Kim in the village to reveal that Rose was plotting with someone against her.

“I heard her tell someone that the job was done, that you were gone,” Lydia reported.

Lydia suggested they go “straight back to Home Farm” to reveal that Rose was part of a secret plot.

“Or we could just sit back and wait for the world’s least competent conspirator to get screwed,” Kim replied. “Either way, I don’t think it’ll take too long!”

Will Kim and Lydia discover Rose’s partner in crime?
