SRNA presents Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Silent Core tire

Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. introduced the all-new Falken Azenis FK460 A/S Silent Core.

The high-performance all-season tire is built with Falken’s Silent Core technology to meet the needs of electric vehicles by reducing cavity noise through a foam insert at the rear of the tire’s tread.

Like the Falken Azenis FK460 A/S, the FK460 A/S Silent Core has been developed with Falken’s advanced 4D Nano technology, producing a rubber compound that exhibits a multifaceted balance of high performance capability, all-season traction and long tread life.

The new tire retains the same tread pattern as the original FK460 with emerging grooves and interlocking sipes. It also incorporates Canyon Groove technology, which improves braking performance on snow.

Azenis FK460 A/S silent core is applicable to many electric vehicles like Audi E-Tron S, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, Genesis GV60 and GV70 and more.

The initial launch will include 16 sizes with rims available from 18 to 22 inches. The tire comes with a 50,000-mile limited tread warranty and Falken Road Hazard Protection.
