MAAC Announces 2023-24 Academic Rankings

EDISON, New Jersey – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced Wednesday that a total of 3,008 student-athletes have been named to the conference’s 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll, including a total of 209 from Niagara.

To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to full-time and associate members of the MAAC. All 24 conference-sponsored sports are represented.

The women’s lacrosse team led all NU programs with a total of 29 student-athletes, followed by baseball with 25.

Marist College named 334 student-athletes to the Academic Honor Roll, leading the MAAC for the 23rd consecutive year. Quinnipiac University came in second with 277 student-athletes on the list, followed by Fairfield University in third with 274 honorees, then Iona University with 266 honorees, and Mount St. Mary’s University rounded out the top five with 264 selections.
