Former President Donald Trump announced to a crowd Friday night that he “just removed the last bandage” from his ear following his assassination attempt nearly two weeks ago.

The “Believers Summit,” organized by Turning Point Action in West Palm Beach, aimed to reach out to voters of faith. Former HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson preceded the former president.

“We want to thank every single believer in this room for their prayers and their incredible support. I really appreciate it,” Trump said.

“Something was working, we know, something was working. So I thank you very much. And I stand before you tonight, through the power of prayer and the grace of Almighty God,” he added.

The former president continued: “As you can see, I’ve made a good recovery. In fact, I just took the last bandage off my ear.”

The crowd cheered enthusiastically as the former president gestured to his injured ear before clarifying:I just took it off. I took it off for this group. I don’t know why I did that for this group, but that’s it. I think that’s it.

Trump’s former doctor gives health update, questions Wray as FBI says ex-president was shot

Former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson released a letter Friday providing an update on Donald Trump’s health following his July 13 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I want to reassure the American people and the rest of the world that President Trump is doing extremely well,” Jackson said.

“He is recovering rapidly from his gunshot wound to his right ear. I will remain available to assist President Trump and his personal physician in any way they deem appropriate and will provide updates as necessary and with President Trump’s permission,” Jackson concluded.

The FBI confirmed to Fox News Digital on Friday: “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, either whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.”
