Handover: Dravid shares special message for Gambhir as Team India begins new era

India’s tour of Sri Lanka begins with the first T20I on Saturday and comprises three T20Is and three ODIs each. Gill will be the assistant to Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma in the shorter and 50-overs format, respectively. This is Gambhir’s first assignment as head coach after he was appointed to the role earlier in July after Rahul Dravid stepped down following the ICC T20 World Cup win in the West Indies.
