SZA Announces She’s Performing Her ‘Last Show For A While’ So She Can ‘Finally Get Her Life Back’

The 34-year-old alternative R&B singer, who has 39 million followers on social media, tweeted on X: “Yesterday was my last concert for a while. I’m finally about to get my life back together, thank God.”

SZA (born Solána Imani Rowe) later posted a video of herself dancing provocatively at a Montreal nightclub after her concert where Kaytranada “played the craziest set”

The four-time Grammy winner took to Instastory on Tuesday to give fans a sneak peek at her upcoming projects: “Lock me in a studio on the beach ASAP”

SZA – who suffers from ADHD and anxiety – has released two singles (Saturn and Cry Baby) from her third studio album Lana, which Top Dawg Entertainment and RCA Records will release later this year (pictured July 4)

The Missouri-born Jersey Girl, who is Muslim, is not scheduled to perform again until November 20 in Bahrain and November 23 in the United Arab Emirates (pictured June 30).

It’s unclear whether SZA has already wrapped her acting role in the upcoming TriStar Pictures comedy alongside Keke Palmer (M), whom she met while appearing on NBC’s Saturday Night Live in 2022.

The former stripper is nominated for five Moonperson trophies — including artist of the year — at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air September 10 from UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

For her 2022 hit single Snooze, SZA — who doesn’t play an instrument — was nominated for video of the year and best R&B in the fan-voted ceremony.

The Oscar-nominated songwriter and Sexyy Red both guested on Drake’s (R, pictured in February) song “Rich Baby Daddy,” which was nominated for best collaboration and best hip-hop.

SZA, who has 68.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, wrote via Instastory on Tuesday: “Oh we’re out? Thank you so much @mtv!”
