DHAKA: Son of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sajeeb Wazed Joy said on Wednesday that democracy and the elections in Bangladesh are impossible without the participation of the Awami League, the country’s largest and oldest party. In a video message, he addressed the current government: “We also want a democratic, orderly and safe country. For this, we are ready to talk with everyone, only if they eliminate activism and violence. Sheikh Hasina is not dead. We have not gone anywhere.
