Anchurus, son of Midas by Uday Kampani

Inspired by the beautiful concept called “Fallen Angel” by Vladimir Matyukhin.

This project was an excellent exercise in speed and efficiency.

I chose a concept that left a lot of room for interpretation. It helped define the overall look and idea, but bringing this project to life in 3D was unlike anything I had done before. The freedom of direction in art is both oppressive and liberating, it was fun to maneuver that balance.
