Long summer lines returned to Disney World last week

Every week, we bring you the average wait times at each Disney World park so you can prepare for your next trip to Orlando! This past week, an interesting trend has developed that we have to talk about.

Disney World had a bit of a weird week, wait times-wise. Most wait times were generally up across the resort, especially at EPCOT, but the Magic Kingdom had some weird fluctuations. Is this an effect of the new Multiple passage on the lighting track system? Maybe.

Take a look at this week’s average wait times, from highest to lowest!

Magic Kingdom Wait Times

Magic Kingdom park had a weird week overall when it came to wait times, perhaps best illustrated by the fact that the wait for Dumbo nearly doubled, while the wait for the Enchanted Tiki Room was cut nearly in half.

(REMINDER: Tron Lightcycle/Run does not currently use a sleep queue; it is not included here, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does not yet have a sleep queue.)

Wait Times at EPCOT

EPCOT Wait times have increased at nearly every attraction in the park this week. In fact, every attraction in the park except Living with the Land has had wait times of over 10 minutes. (NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a queue, so it is not included here.)

• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — 56 minutes
• Frozen forever — 48 minutes
• Flight — 33 minutes
• Mission: SPACE — 19 minutes

• Turtle Discussion with Crush — 15 minutes
• Spaceship Earth — 15 minutes
• The seas with Nemo and his friends — 12 minutes
• Journey into the imagination — 10 minutes
• Gran Fiesta Tour — 10 minutes
• Living with the land — 9 minutes

Test Track, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast in song, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France and Reflections of China There was no waiting time this week.

Animal Kingdom Wait Times

The Animal Kingdom Flight of Passage remains the park’s (and the resort’s) busiest attraction, but its wait time has decreased slightly this week. However, the rest of the park made up for it, as wait times increased everywhere else.

• Na’vi River Journey — 52 minutes

• Everest Expedition — 38 minutes

• Kilimanjaro Safaris — 34 minutes
• Dinosaur — 25 minutes

Waiting times at Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios saw a return to normal at the top, as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster ceded the title to Slinky Dog Dash.
