The person who captured the moment, Captain Erica Sackrison of whale watching company Gone Whale Watching, said: “The greatest dolphin show in the world is the one that happens in the wild!”

“It’s been a great summer for watching acrobatic bottlenose dolphins offshore, and today Captain Erica Sackrison was able to capture these magnificent animals doing what they do best.

“You could see them jumping about 20 feet up…it almost looked like they were doing Olympic-style jumps, like they were all trying to do like Simone Biles and touch the sky and come back down. It was awesome,” she told CBS 8 San Diego.
