Kawasaki Unveils Limited-Edition Ninja ZX-25RR to Celebrate 40 Years of Racing

In a nod to its four decades of racing heritage, Kawasaki has introduced the special edition Ninja ZX-25RR in Indonesia. While its availability in India remains uncertain, this limited-edition model boasts striking design elements inspired by the iconic ZXR750 race machine of the 1980s.

A Visual Feast

The 40th Anniversary edition features a captivating lime green, pearl crystal white, and blue livery, reminiscent of the ZXR750. Large “Kawasaki” branding adorns the side fairings, which are complemented by engine guards and a “40th Ninja Anniversary” logo on the fuel tank. Smoked visor, green-accented alloy wheels, and adjustable suspension further enhance its unique appeal.

Performance and Features

Underneath the striking exterior, the special edition Ninja ZX-25RR shares the same mechanical specifications as its standard counterpart. Its 249.8cc, inline-four-cylinder engine delivers a potent 50 horsepower at 15,500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of peak torque at 14,500 rpm. Standard features include a quick shifter, traction control system, power modes, ABS, LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT screen, and adjustable suspension.

Price Premium

The 40th Anniversary edition commands a premium over the standard model in Indonesia, priced at Rp 138,000,000 (approximately Rs. 7.40 lakh) compared to the standard RR’s Rp 133,500,000 (Rs. 7.20 lakh).
