Glee star Lea Michele, 37, announces the birth of her second child with a sweet photo

Lea Michele has welcomed her second child and revealed her baby girl’s name.

The 37-year-old actress is best known for playing Rachel Barry on the series Glee from 2009 to 2015.

In 2020, she welcomed her first child, son Ever Leo, with husband Zandy Reich, whom she married a year earlier.

Léa has now announced the arrival of her daughter.

Posting a photo on Instagram of her daughter wrapped in a blanket, Lea, Zandy and Ever’s hands were all seen clutching one of the baby’s legs.

“Our hearts are so full 🤍 Emery Sol Reich 💕,” she captioned the post.

She was quickly inundated with messages of support from fans.

“I’M IN LOVE WITH HIS NAME,” Barbara commented.

“My biggest congratulations on your new member,” Amy posted.

“I’m crying, omgggg, congratulations, the name is perfect,” Alyssa added.

A few days before giving birth, Léa celebrated her son’s 4th birthdayth birthday, sharing a photo on social media in which she was kissing him.

He was seen wearing a T-shirt that read: “Back in the days of Big Brother.”

In recent years, Lea has spoken out about her struggles to conceive, sharing in 2021 that she had considered “just stopping” trying to get pregnant before having Ever.

“I kept thinking, ‘Maybe this isn’t for me. Maybe it’s not going to happen.’ It’s something that, for me, personally, has always been my biggest fear of my entire life. It’s what I’ve wanted more than anything. Emotionally, it started to build and build…and then we got pregnant.”

The following year, Lea revealed her struggles to conceive again after welcoming her son.

“Our journey to bring (our second baby) into this world has not been easy, and we’ve already had some heartbreak this time around,” she shared on Instagram, adding that she has “faith that God will bring us another one when the time is right.”

Lea announced her second pregnancy in March, sharing a series of photos of herself posing in a white shawl and underwear, while cradling her growing belly.

“Mom, Dad and Ever are thrilled. 💛,” she wrote in her caption.

She then revealed the sex of her second baby on Mother’s Day, writing: “The most beautiful Mother’s Day today, holding my son who made me a mom…and carrying my daughter.”
