Houston police seek 3 suspects in fatal shooting at Gulfton food truck at Chimney Rock and Elm Street

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities are searching for three suspects in a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday night in southwest Houston.

The incident happened at 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a gas station at the corner of Chimney Rock and Elm Street in the Gulfton area, Houston police said.

Authorities said three men approached a food truck demanding $20. A man inside said he would get the money, but police say he returned with a gun and pointed it at the three men.

The men then allegedly shot and killed the man before fleeing the scene.

Investigators obtained surveillance footage of the incident. Houston Police Commander James Dale said a suspect may have been identified from the video.

So far, no arrests have been made.
