Taco Bell Announces Shocking Menu Change: These Favorite Dishes Are in the Hot Seat

The bell rings for breakfast.

Taco Bell fans may soon no longer be able to get their favorite breakfast burrito or Crunchwrap, as the chain announced that some locations will soon be eliminating the most important meal of the day.

“Taco Bell is constantly evolving its menu to better serve our franchisees, team members and fans,” a company representative told Today.

Taco Bell will remove breakfast from the menu at some locations, a representative confirmed to Today, Taco Bell Corp.

Franchisees were given the option to forgo breakfast in order to “have the flexibility to focus on key growth drivers.”

“It’s a two-way street at Taco Bell,” the rep said, adding that the brand is listening to feedback and making changes to support the company’s growth.

“Franchisees expressed appreciation for this gesture, saying they felt their needs were being heard to adapt their menu to better meet the needs of their community,” they continued.

Fortunately, Taco Bell has indicated that only a small minority of franchisees have decided to stop serving breakfast. Locations that no longer offer the meal will stop doing so in October.

This could mean that some fan-favorite breakfast burritos, as well as the Crunchwrap, may not be available at certain locations.

Customers can find out if breakfast is available at their local Taco Bell using the store locator.

“That’s what we do,” the rep said. “In an innovative brand like Taco Bell, we’re constantly trying new things.”

They added that the company remains “committed to breakfast,” with an increasingly enhanced menu this year. Taco Bell is also “strengthening its coffee program” and testing new breakfast items as part of a “breakfast reset moment.”
