Rumor: Josh Brolin has been offered the role of Green Lantern –

James Gunn is hard at work rebuilding the DCU as best he can, and with the new Superman behind him, he’s reportedly now hard at work on Peacemaker. But the Lanterns series is also in the works, which will focus on the Green Lantern Corps, and it looks like Gunn has found his lead character in Josh Brolin.

According to podcaster TheInSneider, the actor was offered the role of Hal Jordan, aka Green Lantern. But whether the almost 60-year-old actor would accept or not is another matter. Perhaps a younger talent would have been more suitable?
