LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The suspect accused of fatally shooting a man in a Shelby Park alley over Labor Day weekend is being held on $1 million bail.

Cody Hedrick, 21, appeared in court on the morning of Sept. 3 on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence. He is accused of killing Justin Wells, 33, of Louisville.

The shooting was captured on a nearby surveillance camera. In footage obtained by WAVE News, Hedrick is seen arguing with Wells before shooting him multiple times.

He comes back later to collect some shell casings.
