Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs ’98-100%’ after hamstring injury, ready for Week 1 game against Rams | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats & Rumors

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who suffered a hamstring injury during a training camp practice Aug. 12, is ready for his team’s season opener Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams.

Gibbs made his remarks to ESPN’s Eric Woodyard, telling the reporter he felt “98 to 100 percent.”

#Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs told ESPN he’s ready for Week 1. He said he feels 98-100 percent after hurting his hamstring during camp while running. “I’m good, just had a little boost,” he said. Gibbs said he’s “more confident overall” heading into year two.

The former Alabama star is entering his second NFL season, rushing for 1,261 yards and 11 touchdowns for the 2023 NFC North champion Lions.
