A police cordon was put in place as investigators were called to the scene of the Sinfin incident

A white-suited forensic investigator was seen working in the cul-de-sac, while a number of police and firefighters remain at the scene.

A fire brigade spokesman said crews from Nottingham Road, Kingsway and Ascot Drive stations were called to the scene.

Police confirmed they were attending the scene in Sinfin, adding: “No further information is available at this time.”
