Malaysian Girl Inspired By Her Mother’s Generosity Surprises Her By Giving Away $700 To Her Friends

A young girl in Malaysia said she was inspired by her mother’s generosity towards her relatives and gave away 3,000 ringgit (US$700) to her classmates, sparking widespread amusement online.

The mother shared the story on social media after receiving a call from her daughter’s teacher about the sudden inspiration for charity.

The teacher said the 11-year-old boy freely distributed money to his classmates at school, according to China Press.

The mother expressed shock when she discovered that her child had distributed about 3,000 ringgit in 20, 50 and even 100 notes.

The mother wondered where her daughter got so much money from, as she only gave her five ringgit (US$1.20) as daily pocket money.
