Olivia Wilde’s former Los Angeles home listed for $4.8 million

Olivia Wilde’s former home is ready for a new owner.

The Los Angeles home where the actress and director once lived is currently for sale for $4.8 million. Real estate agents Patricia Ruben and Alan Melkonyan of Sotheby’s International Realty are holding the listing.

Built in 1929, this Spanish-style home features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms in 3,284 square feet and sits on 0.21 acres. The white home with a red clay shingle roof is surrounded by greenery, including grass, shrubs and trees.

In addition to Wilde, the house has been home to many famous faces, including Brian Henson, the son of American puppeteer Jim Henson, who gave voice and movement to the Kermit the Frog puppet.

Outside the front door is a small courtyard decked in Malibu red tiles, with the entrance just steps away from an outdoor grill, seating area and fire pit.

Upon entering the house, guests are greeted by the same red tiled flooring as the front courtyard, as well as stairs in front of them and to the right, both leading to different rooms.

One of the paths leads to a small room with seating under a wall of windows, offering a perfect view of the greenery surrounding the house. The room also has a Juliet balcony that overlooks the living room.

The living room is accessed by a staircase located just outside the front door. The spacious room features a wood burning fireplace, high vaulted ceilings with exposed wood, a door to the outside and plenty of windows for natural light.

Elsewhere on the main level of the home is the luxurious kitchen, which features a large center island with a large farmhouse sink, seating on one side and cabinets and storage on the other.

Additionally, the room also features state-of-the-art appliances including a full-size oven and a hidden refrigerator.

A breakfast nook with a blue sectional sofa sits in the corner of the kitchen, opposite a glass door that leads to the front patio and sitting area.

One of the highlights of the home is the office space, which features hardwood floors, green paneled walls with unique light fixtures and built-in bookshelves. The main attraction of the office is the large wood-burning fireplace.

Three en-suite bedrooms are spread throughout the house, each with its own unique charm. One of the bedrooms has parquet flooring and a large bed with a built-in headboard. The bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom.

The second bedroom’s bathroom is uniquely designed with blue tiles throughout.
