Amanda Owen reveals she’s split from boyfriend, breaks silence on marriage breakdown

AMANDA Owen has revealed she has split from her boyfriend as she opens up about her failed marriage.

The Our Yorkshire Farm star has finally opened up about the end of her 22-year marriage to Clive Owen.

Amanda, 50, split from the farmer in 2022, leading to the end of her family’s Channel 5 series.

The Sun then revealed her five-year relationship with a 72-year-old web designer named Robert Davies.

However, Amanda has now revealed that their relationship is over – and they are no longer speaking.

Explaining her marital failure, Amanda said: “Clive never liked me being away from the farm, and it led to arguments. I would come home not knowing what to expect or how he would react. I could feel the tension in the air and waited for it to explode.”

She continued to the Daily Mail: “During Covid we had no bookings and the quiet gave me the opportunity to write and collect my thoughts. I quickly realised I was much calmer spending time apart from Clive – we both were – and so I started spending more and more time there.

“It was at that point that we both agreed that we were better off apart than together, with the children spending time in either house as they wished.

“I never looked for another relationship. Rob (Davies) was a friend that Clive and I had known for a long time. He set up the farm website and the digital side of the business, everything we couldn’t do.

“What he was proposing was a conversation rather than a confrontation, and Clive knew that from the very beginning – he even suggested that Rob and I would be a good match.

“At that time, a few years ago, Clive was also seeing someone else and openly dating him. It wasn’t a secret, everyone knew, even the kids.

“But the impact of my relationship with Rob has been enormous for everyone involved.

“Rob and I were both upset by the way the media pursued us and reported the matter, and as a result, Rob and I are no longer together or in contact.”

The heartbroken wife of businessman Robert also spoke out about their relationship, telling The Sun she had “lost everything”.

Amanda and Clive are reuniting for a brand new Channel 4 series which will see the whole family back on screens.

They appear on the channel’s digital station More4 show called Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

It comes after The Sun first revealed last year how Amanda was plotting her TV return.
